Press Photography

For this project Ampersand revamped the existing WordPress site, adding a new template, customising it for the course and helping to re-organise the content to make the site work better for the course team and students.

Taking a freely available template to serve as the basis of development, the colours and layout were altered so as to best showcase the great photography.

User profiles have been extended so that the photographers are easily organised into year groups without requiring any administration problems.

3B International

This project used WordPress to create a new site for 3B International, based upon branding work produced by KI Design.

The blog functionality of WordPress is used to power the News section and the Latest News alert box on the homepage, whilst the rest of the site uses simple, WordPress pages.

This easy-to-update News section proved invaluable in January 2010 when heavy snow throughout Cornwall and the rest of the country caused massive disruptions to transportation. 3B were able to quickly and easily keep all of their clients up-to-date with the latest arrangements.

In addition to the general website, a new design was also applied across the various web-based applications that 3B already offered to their clients, bringing everything in to one cohesive brand.

This is a WordPress site with a custom designed and built theme.

Sifr has been used to render the non-standard font used in the headings so that the site can be visually rich without sacrificing any accessibility or making it difficult to update.

A small audio player has been added in to the site so that mp3 files, uploaded by Kate, can be played directly from within the page.

The gallery is managed directly from Kate’s Flickr album.

Design by Adrian Toms at Nine Design.
