ProjectBase

Posted February 11th, 2010 in Drupal, Portfolio by Matt

Built using Drupal, this custom designed and templated site makes extensive use of CCK and Views to customise the display of the various different types of content in the site. Views are used, in addition to menus, to present the image grid for each main section.

The ProjectBase team have full control over the site, being able to add in new pages and sections as needed.  Images are added via a simple file upload.

Thumbnail images attached to each page are used in the top section link grids to give a visually interesting and exciting lead in to the various projects and commissions that ProjectBase are involved in.

Future development to the site will focus on increasing the way that visitors can navigate and view the information and making Social Media an integral part of the site experience.

This Drupal based website was first built several years ago to support the International Journalism course at University College Falmouth.

In January the site was re-built to the latest version of Drupal and the associated modules and components. This has given the site users a much more powerful text editor along with greater support for different media.

This Drupal based website was delivered as part of a total company re-brand. It includes lots of images and slideshows of some of the fantastic work that Contract Signs does. The site is very flexible, enabling Contract Signs to run promotions and in-site advertising as they wish as well as showing news and press coverage and offering a resources section to help their clients work with them.
